I agree with the others. You have a warranty backed by major manufacturer. You have a 5 year powertrain warranty, enjoy it. That is the appeal of the Z06, a supercar you can just drive without worrying about all the little quirks and problems if they will be covered. I would feel the same if I bought a Porsche or Audi. Now if you are talking about smaller manufacturers like Lotus, Mclaren, etc, I would go into it being worried.
Add me to the list.... bought via Ciocca, live in VA. 6,500 miles and at dealer for engine reseal and suspected trans leak. Trying to track down if I use VA or NJ LL. VA states the vehicle must be purchased in VA so I'm thinking it's going to fall under NJ. Just getting my ducks in a row should it need a trans and they be on backorder.
EDIT - While catastrophic failures have been few, there have been A LOT of leaks and ticks and electrical gremlins and continued trans issues. A lot of people don't post about it because they want to sell/trade their cars.

I know in PA that is not the case. I believe it needs to be registered in the state where you make your claim.
However, typically, you file a case in the state of car registration. You need alot of documentation. You likely need a lawyer that starts at $3k to $5k. You need alot of patience as I seen one case posted on a forum of 2 years time of settlement.
IF you have none of that in your mind to do,.. Get a nice BMW M4 competition... very good engine history on those.
Wrong.
And you'll be squared away inside of 6mos from filing.
Did it twice.
You pay ZERO out of pocket. The fees are paid by the manufacturer if the firm takes the case.
You email them docs and a quick phone call. Never met the attorneys I've done this twice.
Where does information like what you post come from?
Having said that, with more than 16k Z06s on the road we've seen engines go bad here on this forum maybe 2 or 3x as for the "tick" some complain about it's the same thing. The rest are common sounding finger follower hi pressure fuel injector noises in a mid engine layout with the vented engine in your face and in an echo chamber of an engine compartment.
Obviously warranty is the way to go. I have never ever thought of using a lemon law to get any car replaced.
Think of the Lemon Law as a supplement to the warranty for when an issue can't be fixed. I lemon law'd a Honda CRV because the infotainment system kept dying. Honda very simply couldn't fix it. Florida's Lemon Law only applies to vehicles bought in the State of Florida. Otherwise the selling states law would apply. In Florida a dealer gets 4 attempts and 15 cumulative days out of service.

I did not find this in the Florida statues Title XXXIX Chapter 681. The Florida Bar makes such a claim, however if a Florida resident buys and registers a motor vehicle in Florida he/she will qualify under the statue.
I'm not a lawyer and this should not be considered as a legal advice.
probably true, but the warranty is only for 3 years. Guess I need to drive the crap out of it I'm those 3 years.
This lemon law stuff is so based on what state you live in, and I see in some cases based on where you actually purchased the car too. if you goggle the lemon law success rate it is great that 99% of cases do come to some resolution, but
Which state has the best lemon laws? According to a recent ranking of state lemon laws, released by the Center for Auto Safety, New Jersey and Washington state earned the highest grade (A) for consumer protection. California came in at number 12, with a B grade.
