Default Splash Guards / Mud Flaps

Looking for recommendations on the XL Splash Guards.
Has anyone compared EOS to ACS?
Which one provides the most protection?

Thanks

I"m not sure there is any info or testing that has been done between all the products. I looked when I ordered my car and couldn't find anything. Maybe someone can chime in that has found a link.
I originally purchased the ACS front guards when I ordered the car because they were longer than the other offerings that I found, and astatically a little better IMO. At that time I did not want to pay for the over priced rear guards by them.

About a week or so before delivery. I needed to get the rear guards before the car came in and I just didn't like how some of the guards just had a flat top and didn't blend into the quarter panel. It looked unfinished to me. So I bit the bullet and got the rear ACS as well. They have the rock guard screen too that keeps the rear part of car from getting dinged up with chips. Not to mention they are wider and longer and look really nice.

It basically just boils down to what you think will do the best job. Of course cost and looks are in there as well. The price is way too much for simple splash guards, but on the other hand I plan on keeping the car a long time and when you average that out to piece of mind of no rock chips. It was worth it to me. I would hate to have saved a few bucks up front and then later I find some nasty rock chip I cant stand and want to kick myself for not addressing it properly when I had a chance.

Anyway good luck on your decission.

I sprang for the ACS set and put the fronts on yesterday when I picked up the car. Took ~10 min with the right plastic trim tool and a 7mm socket, plus a few smacks with the hand to seat the clips. The look OEM but clearly stick out more. What I also liked more than the others is that they stick down more so they protect more from debris coming off the outside edge of the tires. I will put the rears on later today, I hope, and shoot a couple shots to post.

More expensive than the others but more protection, and I want to keep this car pristine for as long as I possibly can. Worth an extra $200 over the others, IMO.

Thanks @mtraylor2001 and @deltaT. For all the reasons you’ve outlined, ACS definitely sounds like the best option.

EOS guards front and rear. True they do not extend lower past the attachment 7mm bolt. I got the matte black plastic. The fronts do go lower than the side skirts and do protect the front of it from rocks. Fit perfectly front and rear. True, they do not have a screen in the rear, but for over 200$ cheaper, it was an easy choice.

ACS here. I like the longer length to ensure gravel does not fly up into the side intakes. I like the carbon flash look as well....

There's a string somewhere where someone took lots of pictures of their ACS guards on the car.

I went with ACS for all my body mods so far. Great quality, easy installation and fast shipping.

I purchased the Paragon performance ones. I will post photos when I have them installed. I was on the site buying jacking pucks and I also got the splash guards. Didn't do any brand comparison.

To be honest, after some research and saw the aftermarket splash guards, I decided not to purchase them. 2 reasons, the cost is stupid high and I hate to see the OEM guards go to waste. So I decided to purchase some parts from Amazon and made it myself. Plus it looks very nice with an extra lips down in the bottom protecting from all the rocks going to the side vents. Mine is solid after 500 hundreds mile, I’m very happy with them. Please don’t say that I have 150k to spend on the vehicle why cheap out, it’s not about being cheap, it’s about creating something on your own, better and very functional. They want to charge 650 for front and rear, and you throw away a perfectly good pairs of OEM guards. I have money but not stupid, and tbh, they look great on my car.

Nice job, that's quite a clean install! I thought about doing but wanted them ready for the drive home, so it was worth some coin. The ACS paint job really makes them disappear, IMO, which is ideal for rock guards.

Are rears even worth it? Seems like all you'd need is fronts with better coverage.

Rears are needed to keep the rocks from kicking up against the back bumper causing rock chips. I think that is why GM didn't bring the tires out any further on the rear quarter. If you bring the tires out with spacers or different offset. Then the chips will only be worse and definitely needed more in that case.

I refuse to pay the Z06 tax and went EOS and modded them. Here is what I did, it looks factory, and it keeps rocks from chipping the rear wheel house air vents. The matt finish looks great on the car, just looks like it came that way.
