I'm looking at getting a new lift, but not sure they are wide enough across the ramps. Don't own a Z06 currently, but will in the future. Would hate to buy a lift that doesn't work. Does anybody know the width across the rear tires?
Any suggestions appreciated.
TIA

I went through the same determination which 4-post lift to buy and crunched a lot of numbers. Bottom line, you need about 80" width on a Z06/eRay or the tires are hanging over the outside edges of the runways, most lifts are 75" outside width track to track measurement. There are a few C-channel options out there that have enough width for a Z06. I liked the sturdyness of the wrap around sliders with fully boxed post. There are (2) that I saw that fit that design criteria (right width & boxed post), Wildfire Exotic and Advantage SS-11000. GREEN HIGHLIGHTS both are similar 23"-24" ramp widths and outside track to track measurements 84"-85" which a Z06/eRay will fit on. My decision came down to the length needing somewhere around 180" for the Z06, BLUE HIGHLIGHTS Exotic 182" and Advantage 215" was a big difference. In the end the Wildfire fit lengthwise better in my garage so that is what I bought. Anyone can argue the quality differences between the two, certificates, bearings, wire size, etc. Looked at both, liked both.

Youre confirming what I have found out. I also found one from BendPak, HD-9XW. I have the space so I was considering getting one long enough to service my Silverado. Not a big deal though as it's easy to get under for oil changes.
Is a few inches overhang on a 75" wide lift that big a problem? With tires a foot wide, I would think a little overhang would be insignificant.
But, am I missing something?
Ralph
a couple of inches on each side not a big deal.. make sure the park brake is on.. if you want some extra security chock the tires. or get a welder to add a bit to the areas where the wheels will sit. but as long as half the tire isnt hanging over you will be fine.. i have a triumph 8000 xlt no problems with my cars or truck cars dont hang over about 2 inches on each side when perfectly centered truck tires hang over a couple inches not a big deal
I purchased the XLT and my 2024 Z fits with no issues.
I did not want to go to the 9000# lift due to its larger size.
The 9000# lift took up too much space in my garage.
The lift is a game changer.
I can confirm that a non Z07, C8 Z06 will fit on the FP8K-DX with about a half inch clearance between the wheels and cable covers. How do I know? I did it. Why would I do that? A friend needs one out of his house that is for sale and he said I could have it. He kept his new GT3 on it and according to him the GT3 is greater than the Z in every aspect including girth, therefore it must fit. To my suprise it did but just barley. I'm going to put the C7 on it anyway and can put the C8Z on it with a ground guide.
When I bought my Direct Lift 10 years ago I had to widen the ramps to accommodate my C7 Z, later my C8Z51, and eventually Eray. I mentioned it in a past post and some folks thought it might be a bad idea since the manufacturer did not recommend product mods. At least in my case it has worked out fine. I recently added a bit of angle iron to edges of ramps to further support rear tires which bear majority of weight back there. Tires barely touch angle iron, On the Direct Lift it is easy to move one ramp wider since control cables all run on one side and other ramp is just bolted in place. Outside to outside edge measurement is now 78” and add 2” per side at rear where angle iron resides. Just sharing to show how car fits with ramps thus modified. Not saying you should necessarily do it!
I have a MaxJax 2-post that I installed in the garage, set to the max width apart that the manual recommends. It works really well on the Z, but I did also install red jacking pucks on the car. I can take a pic later with the car up in the air. This jack is an excellent choice for people with garages with lower ceilings.
I unbolt the driver's side lift from the 5-bolt receivers and move it away from the car when I'm not using it - it makes getting in and out so much easier. Takes 3 min to unbolt, tilt, and roll it back a foot or so.
I went with the Lift Superstore 8k wide model. 80 3/4" outside of runways. My friend did as well. Model LSS4P8PLDWL. No overhang and great quality and service from the installer!
