Has anyone painted the factory front splitter in carbon flash? Aftermarket carbon flash splitters are popular for these cars. Just wondering if anyone removed the factory splitter and painted it for the look? If so please post pictures.

Somewhere on here there is a pic of one where the owner just ordered one at the parts counter and it came carbon flash. Took off the body color one and bolted on the factory painted carbon flash piece.

That's what I did. I think it looks much better than body color and wasn't all that expensive.

The cost new is great, as an X collision shop owner I bet most shops would charge in the $250 to 325 range to paint them carbon flash which btw is a popular GM color and not specific to just Corvettes.
