Hey All- I've been on the forum for a little while trying to get a bead on what the turnaround time is on orders. Does anyone have a rough idea how long the waits are? Or is it dealer specific(being it a large dealer like Ciocca or a small town Chevy dealer). I've seen some people waiting years and others 3 months, give or take.
The last time I tried to order a higher end model was a '13 Shelby GT500. Wasn't a great experience since it was a relatively cheap 600 hp car, the demand was high and supply was low. Most dealers would be lucky to get 2 per year and the waitlists were at least a dozen deep at most dealers. Maybe thats not the case with Chevy and the Zs. Anyway, I appreciate the help!
GM says they will make as many Z06s and ZR1s as the market demands. Current wait times for a Z06 seems to be 3-4 months as long as there are no constraints. This excludes the holiday shutdown period that ended January 6.
