Just wondering if anyone has the proper torque specifications you would need when doing an alignment for the front and rear of the car, thanks. I want to make sure things are torqued to proper specs
It's 111 ft/lbs plus 90-105 degrees on the eccentrics. Both myself and the guy who owned the rack were surprised. He owns one of the fancy torque wrenches that has an angle side. By the time it hit 90 degrees after 111 ft/lbs it was between 190ft/lbs and 220 ft/lbs of total torque on the nuts.
This stuff is super helpful to me. Thank you!
There should be a sticky with these various PDF's for future reference.
Think I was able to downlaod my manual for like $15, it is PDF format with index for searching, gives these identical details and images. Might be worth trying to find one if doing a lot of work.
I will pursue getting a service manual online. In the meantime, can someone give me the torque spec for the steering wheel nut? There is already a loose nut behind the wheel!
