Default brake dust

Just pick ed up my 2025 zo6 with the polished black wheels. How do I remove the brake dust from the barrel part of the wheel. I tried a couple of wheel cleaners and nothing works

You had trouble rewinding VCR tapes didn’t you?

“Polished black wheels” are effectively painted, and brake acid aka. “Wheel cleaners” should be nowhere near them. Soapy water, and a wheel brush should do the trick.

Take off each wheel and hand wash the back sides of the barrels.

If you have iron brakes, I recommend these Z26 pads. Much less dust.

I purchased a 2025 Z06 and the brake dust is awful. Called powerstop about their pads and they could not confirm the pads from a 2024 would fit a 2025. When they do I will buy the Z26 pads front and rear. Can anyone confirm the pads did not change?

as 2023 and 2024.

I like the brake dust. It shows that the braking mechanism is working hard. Kind of like human sweat. ; )

Lol.

lol, the brake dust is terrible. One day when I have time I'm going to take off each wheel, give them a nice cleaning and ceramic coat them.
