Default Ground effects

Hello - For those of you with the upgraded ground effects - i.e. carbon flash or carbon fiber - do you have any idea how much further the front splitter sticks out vs. the stock one that comes on the Z06? It appears to be a little wider than stock and stick out more on the ends.

If anyone does have the upgraded splitter - do you notice that you're scraping with it?

Thanks.

It does stick out a bit further. I have a very steep driveway. I had to use two 5 foot 2x12’s in order to get my 2019ZR1 up the driveway. My 2025 Z07 with front lift makes it easily. Without front lift, I would have a problem but I’ve never scraped anywhere else.

I did not get the lift, and after I added on a nice CF Z07-style splitter, I have rubbing. It sticks out a little over 3". So I had to do like @Factoid and make a little mini-ramp for my driveway so I can sort of crab in.

The lift and the PDR are 2 options that I wish I had got, but was trying to keep the price down. Now, ~6 months later, it seems like a stupid savings, but the wife was having trouble endorsing a total (with taxes) $140K vehicle. Live and learn.

Thanks for the replies - I'm looking at cars that are already built in an effort to help with negotiations. I figured that I could always add the aftermarket splitter, but it may be that once I see it in person, the factory version is good enough.
