Hello! im from NJ as well!

Intake options are slim, but Eventuri and JLT are the go to for now with Halltech incoming here in a few weeks.

Catback is NOT needed on this car, you wont gain anything due to the straight through nature of the stock exhaust. The only benefits really are weight savings and maybe looks. If you want power and sound improvements then High Flow Cats are the way on this platform but there is a slight chance the car throws a CEL because of them so be aware.

Welcome…..just recently sold my 21 SR for a Z06/07. My opinion on CAI and catback on the Z06 is that it is a waste of money. The exhaust on the Z06 is basically a straight out if you have the setting at track or Z, and the intake is already a CAI. If you’re looking to pickup HP/TQ there is very little left on the table without going to forced induction….if you’re looking for sound, the FPC already has you at an exotic level.

Again, my .02.

Welcome & congrats! Great spec

Give us a shout if we can help with any upgrades - we're right over the bridge from Jersey and have done a bunch of C8Zs.

(I'd skip the Catback and go with HF Cats if you're looking for more sound)

Welcome!!!! Great color choice, lol. Honestly, I wouldn’t mess with the exhaust. This car gets better and better. Ensure you put it in track exhaust setting. At 4500 miles now, it’s still getting better.

Welcome aboard. I would leave the car as is and then maybe do gradual upgrades as needed. Maybe try to take it out to your local track (high performance drivers education events) to explore the vehicle's potential, and more importantly - your potential.

Glad to have you and let us know if you need anything.

Welcome and beautiful spec!

I did the corsa performance intake and have a titanium cat back. Absolutely do the cat back if you like more sound. Loud and proud is the only way to go IMO. Mine sounds "like an F1 car", with stock cats. At least, that's what a couple of 992 GT3 Porsche guys told me at the last meet. As a bonus, you shed a ton of weight by going with a ti catback.

There are many good exhaust companies that are members here and I don't mean to overlook them...definitely consider them.

At the same time and as I said in a couple of other threads -- my car came with the ti catback already on it. Since it's "good enough", I won't change it. If I were starting over however, I'd buy the same brand of exhaust I had on my 911 Turbo S -- Boost Logic. I went through 4 exhaust systems on the 911 and their system blew me away. Gorgeous design and build quality and amazing sound. Check out their full ti system for the Z06. It looks beautiful as well and sounds epic.

ETA: I didn't go with high flow cats or throttle bodies, upon warning from my Chevy dealer GM (a very reputable vette dealer here that does a lot of track prep cars and mods) that I'd be at risk for warranty claims with chevy with those mods. He suggested airbox and catback only. The juice is not worth the squeeze for me, doing those mods. I did do the soler throttle controller and it is a great addition.

Boost Logic for C8 Z06

This car apparently has stock cats:

Welcome to the forums! High flow cats or cat deletes are the best mods for sound (stock catback w valves and high flow cats/deletes is wicked) . Cat backs are so subjective and would only recommend if you wanna drop weight. First mod I would do is throttle controller. It's the cheapest and will take away the anemic throttle response from factory. Also least likely to affect your warranty. From there it will snowball, ask me how I know....
