I do believe that, running in touring mode, my car is now shifting at higher RPMs than it was before I installed the controller. However, I also installed the Soler 91mm throttle bodies, and the Eventuri airbox, and the HJC high flow cats, so there are a lot of variables in this "experiment".
I am going to do some careful study, first returning the controller to OEM mode and paying close attention to the shift point, and they doing the same with a few different throttle positions. I might even give ludicrous a try!!
it does not change the cars performance/tuning. Its just remapping throttle inputs and outputs to shift the curve to ones liking. You could do the same by how quickly/slowly you smash the pedal.
From the responses I’ve switched from sport 2 to comfort 8. It really feels smoother and more like the car should have come from the factory set like this. I did loose some off throttle burbles, but is it is very responsive and smooth at the same time.
I recently installed the Soler Throttle controller, it is such a game changer! I did a few other mods at the same time so I am not sure how much was the controller but the pedal response is so different now. I highly recommend this very easy upgrade!
I am running on Sport-6 now and it is almost twitchy!
It you have this one, let's hear where you are running it!
Thanks for the feedback—great to hear you're noticing the difference. Sport-6 is definitely aggressive, so it's not surprising it feels twitchy. Even with other mods in the mix, the controller tends to have a big impact on throttle response and drivability.
Curious to hear what settings others are running as well—always interesting to see how different setups respond.
Sport 5, but just moved the controller to the Z06 from my Z51 Stingray that I traded in. It seems much more “twitchy” with the LT6. I may back it down a bit for the street.
