This combo is not attractive to me at all. Na fpc should be solo front and center. I get hybrid for turbo zr and base engine too but why complicate purity of z06? Chevy taking page right out 911 playbook so might work for them. Just not for me

I also have zero interest in a hybridized Z06. Still hoping for some sort of lightweight package or performance enhancements (not electric motors either) on the Z06 before the C8 generation is over.

Agree. Wouldn't be for me but they should offer a light weight package called Bowling Green and charge $20k for the pleasure of eliminating features, strip out interior, light weight glass, bucket shell seats, no sound deadening, stiffer non adjustable suspension, etc. Like fiorano or weissach packages. Would be total profit center and a lot easier than a z ray to make
2025 C8 Z06/7/E-Ray of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I'm thinking it's going to be the Z06 with all wheel drive perhaps? Or maybe a track oriented hardcore version? If it was electric/hybrid then I would expect the letter "e" somewhere in the model designation.
@NiteriderFRC made a helpful correction that the letter x is for Twitter for those of us we're not familiar or didn't remember.

If this is true (LT6 w/E-Ray motors up front) this thing will be maniacal!
The hybrid technology is the reason the 296 GTB is virtually even with the ZR1 with 250 hp less (lower weight doesn't hurt either)
Having an LT6 in an awd format putting out around 830 hp will be bonkers. The huge torque at low rpm of the electric motors will fill It will be an SF90 fighter for 1/4 the price. You could even look at it as a modern day 918.
If I owned a Z06, I think I'd be looking to trade it in for one of these. I can't see a standard Z06 bring preferable to this. The E-Ray is often regarded as the best Corvette ever. it just have the soul and the emotional connection that the Z06 has. Well, combining that incredible powerplant with the E-Rays front motor system fixes that!
The only thing that keeps me away from these hybrid sports cars is the complication and expense if anything ***** the bed. As long as you only keep it long enough for warranty to cover it, let GM worry about repairs.
Keep in mind, there is absolutely nothing pointing this to be a Z06 except there was a Z06x concept a while back.
The most likely think is the Z0RA (Zr1 with the electric motors up front). Also we can't rule out the rumored Grand Sport.
Doesn't mean it can't be a Z06 variant that is being announced next week, just that there are other models that are much more likely. Someone noted that one of the Zoras at the 'Ring this week had a CTF VIN, so that's the most likely scenario if they are really that far along with it....
I think the Z06x will be closer to $150K with CCB as standard equipment.
Then might as well use round numbers with zr being 200 and zora 250. Why not? At that point I don't think it matters. Why let it go to adm? Plus Porsche can sell regular gt3 at close 300.
