I'm the proud owner of a z06 for 4 weeks now. Once the ecu can be tuned what kind of mods can I expect to be available? Can you swap out the cam in a flat plane crank, add headers, & tune it similar to a c6 to keep it NA? I'm assuming turbos will also be available to build the engine similar to the zr1?
Congrats on your new Z06, but don't hold your breath on the unlock of this highly-encrypted ECU. Federal and state regs are cracking down on emissions mods and the ECU manufacturers (Bosch in this case) are making it extremely hard to modify.
The LT6 is one of the most knife-edge tuned engines of late. I'm doubting there's much to be had from trying to wring it out aftermarket--and probably a lot of risk involved.

So, congrats! But seriously??? That makes no sense at all, it’s beyond glorious machine. Maybe buy 2 Z06 and duct tape the 2 together and have 1340hp, enough for you? lol.

I have not seen any time slips or dyno runs that exceed the stock numbers with over-the-counter mods. Lots of people spending $10K on intakes, throttle bodies, and high flow cats. Where are the real-world numbers to justify the costs of the mods in either dyno runs (peak horsepower) or quarter mile time slips?? As for headers, the car already has tubular headers from the factory and again did new headers adding anything to the bottom line. I have not seen anyone say that the new headers are better than the factory ones from a performance standpoint. As far as unlocking the computer others have already answered that question. Lastly, the engine has 12:5:1 actual compression ratio and I don't see adding a turbo(s) with this much compression will do anything but grenade this magnificent engine very quickly. Hope this helps.
I talked to the VP of Lingenfelter about the Z06 and if the ECU will ever be cracked. He told me it would take their computers running 24/7 and about 30 years to do it. So, dont hold your breath. If you want twin turbos, go buy the ZR1.
Not sure why people are so hell bent on modding the Z06. If you want to mod a car, do it to the stingray. You can go supercharger or twin turbos..
You can have some fun with some bolt ons that will give you marginal gains if you wish to tool on the car a bit. The ECU will adjust to the changes. The focus is on weight loss and the car breathing.

Added the throttle bodies, air intake and hf cats with zero hp gain. The only value was the sound of the cats with no CEL!
