Do you guys have experience with slick tire setups on your c8? I want to start a project for time attack and my C8 will be in Europe in few months. I have experience with different mixes of Pirellis P-zeros mostly RA9 to RA5As mostly 18inches on my Subaru and Proto Fiesta. I wanted to know if I can fit 19inch wheels on back and front. Do I need to change brake setups? I wanted to install AP racing brake kit AP Racing CP9668 Radi-CAL calipers with 25mm pads on the front and I wanted to keep back stock for a few events. So my question is do I need to change my brake setup on the back if I want to change tires for slicks. And what size of tires and wheels are you guys going for while fitting slicks? I will be grateful if you guys could share some experience
You can run 19" without changing out the brakes we've done quite a few 19x10 and 19x13 setups on the Z06 platform tire size wise we've tested these ones:
