Default Another color question.

I know these questions get beat to death, so apologies are probably in order but here is our situation. My go to dealer has an opportunity to place an order for a 2026 ZO6. We were first on his list so decided to take advantage of it. So going through the options of course exterior color came up. We have a 2003 black ZO6 and a 2010 black ZR1 so black has been our go to color. Thinking about something different we were looking at the Blade Silver. However, we went and looked at a black ZO6 yesterday and dang, as much as I don't like the thought of another black car, it looked great. We tried to find a dealer reasonably close that had a Blade Silver so we could look at that as well, but all were in transit or still at the factory. I know it is a very long shot but is there anyone in the Central Illinois area that has this color that we could sneak a peek at?? Would really like to see one to satisfy our curiosity. Just curious, as I say, know it is a long shot. Would certainly entertain any thoughts/opinions as well. Thanks in advance.

Hope you find the color you are looking for, but its hard to beat black if you like it. Get it PPF'd and ceramic coated. My advice would be to get the ceramic breaks for little break dust and the performance gains. Good Luck.

I have owned many black cars and when spotless black is great but the C8 is the first car I didn’t want in black because I saw one very dirty and looking neglected and I was so disappointed.

The car has so many lines and angles to me it’s the most color sensitive car I have ever seen. It’s also a car that, in my opinion, looks amazing in bright colors. You can’t go “under the radar” in a C8 Z06.

If you have other black cars I would understand the desire to get black and I saw a Black Z06 with red interior at the dealer when I bought mine. It was epic. But I stuck with Riptide Blue

But I’m also a fan of Red, Orange and the new Purple…

good luck!!!

Black is not a color, it’s a job

10 seconds after my car is clean I turn my back and it’s got dust. You see every imperfection.

i am wrapping mine verde Ithaca

So I just went through all of this and Black was on my top list, I have many black cars/trucks and love the color. I opted not to go that route for a few reasons, one being I want some color in my life, If you like black but want to look at something else you check out Riptide Blue, stunning is the only word that comes to my mind when seeing that color, especially when trimmed out with black...the other color I think you may like which surprised me is the Hysteria Purple, when seen in person and outside it looks more deep dark navy blue. Whatever you do make sure to see them in person and don't trust the build site or pictures you see on the web...

Seeing them in person is a really good idea. Riptide Blue is perfect example. It looks nice on the build tool but when you see it person it’s electric. Looks like it’s glowing… obviously an exaggeration but don’t know how else to describe it. A lot of the colors flip in sunlight. There is a lot of metallic. They even change based on the angle of the sun.

Black is beautiful. Sinister even. My first black corvette hasn't hassle me at all. I am surprised by that. Maybe im just over being to **** about the paint?

All colors are nice but nothing screams batman than an all black corvette

I agree that black looks great, but it’s just insane the time to keep it looking great.

Ultimately the three colors that I kept kicking around in my head where the Sebring Orange, Riptide Blue, and Black....I think I would be very content with any of those three...Roswell Green to a lesser degree

Thanks for all of the input. Many have mentioned seeing a color in person and I couldn't agree more. While the web tool is helpful it just doesn't do a color justice. Topcarbon is right, it is a job to keep a black car looking good and I know all about the dust 10 seconds later and it drives me nuts! Guess that is why we were looking at something different this go around. The blue is appealing I have to admit. While the purple doesn't seem like a logical choice, I've heard more than one person say that once you see it in person it is great. Guess we will hash it over some more and keep looking. Thanks for all of your feedback.

I'm on my 4th Vette. 2 black and 2 blade silver. 1997 and 2026 in silver. I got the pdf visible cf package and looks amazing with the silver. easiest to get and keep clean. Paint is way better on the new one. I was at a show Sat with at least 3 diff grey/silver c8's, and everyone liked the blade best. I was washing it before thinking it was very dirty and my kids thought it was clean before i washed it

I know, color choice is difficult. I (hope) to be facing it when ordering a ZR1 (thinking bright, Torch Red perhaps). But black is still cool, as per my 2023. Blade Silver would also be cool. I had a 2017 NSX in silver that often was mistaken for a C8. Good luck!

Black is the best - as long as someone else owns it 😁. Not for me though

Torch Red with tan interior would look great. The ZR1 is going to be amazing…. 1,045 HP… just typing that makes me smile…

It shipped with glossy black wheels but I had those on my Shark Gray C7 and just couldn’t do them again.

I would agree if they were satin finish. I’m just not into shiny wheels anymore.
