Where's the ambient temp sensor on a Z06? Doing Auto Addict bumper conversion on my Stingray and it isn't where I expected (same spot, next to the pass side brake duct). Emailed them to ask but not sure how long they will take to respond and the parts websites don't have diagrams since its a generic sensor. So I'd like to see where it is from the factory to know where to look, and because someone else might have the same question which would be great to be able to search up on our lovely forum. =)
I had to move that sensor. I just zip-tied it out of the way and out of the air flow, works fine.
Thanks, I'll zip tie it to the harness away from anywhere air is blowing. Shouldn't move around too much. Temp reading might be a bit off but not the end of the world, not like I rely heavily on my car to tell if it's nice outside or too hot/cold. Did you do the Z06 bumper conversion too, or had to move it for a different reason? I'm sure there has to be a proper mounting point on an OEM bumper but I'm using the Auto Addict conversion kit for my Stingray.
