I have had it for over a year and I just do not drive it like I thought I would.
I have just 4,200 miles on it
I just picked up a LS3 swapped Porsche 997 and I am just way more into that and I think that the Z will sit even more now.
There is nothing wrong with the Z at all, I took it to the Tail of the Dragon yesterday (I live close) and had a fun time but it is almost boring as it just does everything so well.
I can keep it, I have the garage space, but if I could get a reasonable price for it without a bunch of BS (I hate answering a ton of questions and dealing with people) I would let it go.
It is a nice build and is ceramic coated and PPF'd
OP I am the same way when it comes to selling things. I hate doing it, it is not that I hate answering questions but I hate answering questions from people who are really not interested in buying what I am selling. I end up donating most of the things I no longer want or I sell them at a discounted rate to someone I know...cars, I trade them in or keep them...
You're gonna take a pretty good bath but it's only money. It's a depreciating asset anyway. When you sell it early on you lose a lump sum quick, but over time (selling it 2 or 3yrs later)??? Thats better right? Nah. its the same.. but spread out over more time makes the hit feel better (mentally) .
Is there another vehicle that you want that you can trade the Z06 in on for? Maybe to replace something you already have? trade two cars for one vehicle?

Unless you live down south I would wait until Spring. No Dealer in the snow belt wants a six figure previous generation (interior) sports car in inventory.
If you sell to a national company the off season is probably less of an impact but even they are going to be limited where to market a Z06 in December.
I found a family owned used car dealership while test driving a car and I mentioned I had to sell my father in laws car and they said they were interested. I’ve sold the same company three cars. They always beat CarMax and Carvana and they are easier to deal with.

I bought my 23 from a forum member that listed it in the C8 For Sale section. Resale sucks right now so expect to be disappointed. A friend was offered $105K trade in on his 24 3LZ Z07 with aero and under 2K miles. Car had over a $160K sticker new.
Yeah I looked into the resale value and I just as well keep it
I don't need the money, it doesn't effect me to make the payment each month.
I was thinking I could get close to $130k for it
I was just thinking that since I rarely drive it and I am buying another sports car I could kick it down the road but for $100k I'd rather it just sit in my garage
I am going to start doing car rallies next year and it would make a great car for that
