Purchased a 2025 Zo6 in June of this year, I did not think to ask the sales person about the speed shape that typically comes with the purchase of a new Corvette.
Will Chevrolet automatically send me the speed shape or should I have contact the dealership?

Those are sent from GM and not the dealer - some people get them right away, but I just saw a post where someone just received their model from a 2023 purchase (not the norm). I think 2-3 months is more typical.

9 months and still waiting for mine. I even called the Corvette concierge 2 months ago who said they would expedite one to me.
Same here! Purchased in Feb called in Sept to the concierge to see where I am at. She asked "is this the first time you have called?" told her yes but that didn't give me much confidence!

I did ask my salesman and he didn't think they were sending them out anymore and even called his regional sales manager who stated the same thing. Interestingly enough, I received it in the mail the next day haha. I assume color might be a delay for many. I have the Artic White.

Mine's Competition Yellow, purchased March 10th and still nothing. Already made a call to the corvette concierge and supposedly elevated my case, but that was well over a month ago.
What are these speed shapes you speak of? I’m guessing since I spent $165k on my car I’ll get one? Maybe?
everyone who buys a new c8 gets one, how much you spent has nothing to do with it lol. it'll get shipped to your house generally 3-6 months after you took delivery of the car
I purchased my z51 torch red jan 2025, gm sent to wromg address and wouldnt let fedex change the address. Escalated through gm and delivered 1 year after purchase, when i tradrd it in for my roswell green z07 🤣
What GM explained (comfirmed by the 3rd party in indiana who makes it for them) is that the timing is dependent upon the availability of the model color (torch red is highest produced). I cant wait to see how long my roswell green takes. There may be a c10 or Zora release by then 🤣
Just called the Corvette concierge again, my second call and still no update on the welcome kit. When you call they elevate your case, so maybe if enough of us call, GM will try to fix the back log. One can only hope.
