Are you sure you cant get a pick hook in there an wiggle it around until it clicks back in? It may save you a trip to the dealer and the risk of some tech trying to do the same thing

I tried with my fingers. The guard flexes, but doesn’t pull back. It’s also strange that the bumper on that side isn’t lining up like the other one. I didn’t notice that being off until I saw the front separation. Almost as if the retaining clips failed or something. Nothing has struck the car while driving it.

No. Only in a protected garage and only facing in. There is no paint damage anywhere. It does not appear to have been hot by anything. It just seems the clips have disengaged.
Interesting…It is almost as though something didn't go right with the original install. If it were me I would remove all the mounting bolts for the bumper and see if that releases any “tension” that may be “torquing" it out of place…I put a link to the video.
