Default Need Torque Help!

What is the OEM torque specification for the cats to the manifold? I have searched in several places and have not found the answer.
I used AI and Copilot tells me 18# and ChatGPT tells me 33#. The two numbers are too far apart. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Google's Gemini AI said this:

For the 2023-2026 C8 Corvette Z06, the bolt torque for the catalytic converter-to-header connection is not explicitly listed in standard owner's manuals but is specified in official service documentation and aftermarket installation guides for the LT6 engine.
The torque specifications are as follows:
  • Header-to-Catalytic Converter Flange Nuts: Most performance guides for the LT6 engine recommend torquing these to 35 lb-ft.
  • Torque Sequence: It is highly recommended to tighten these in a progressive sequence (e.g., 15 lb-ft, then 25 lb-ft, finishing at 35 lb-ft) to ensure an even seal and prevent gasket failure.
  • Notes on Fasteners: The factory nuts on the converter flange are often extremely tight and may require significant force to break loose initially.
  • Heat Shields: The 8mm bolts holding the heat shielding onto the converters typically require much lower torque, generally around 18-22 lb-ft.
For the most precise values, you can reference the official C8 Z06 Service Manual or consult detailed aftermarket guides like those from Soul Performance Products or Fabspeed which specialize in C8 Z06 exhaust components.
