It sounds wicked in the tunnel vid, but I worry it would be obnoxious to take on a trip >30miles. I'd love to hear it in person!

All these vids has the LT6 up in the rpm stratosphere. I don't forsee anyone would cruise around in that region on your leisure trips? Lol..

The only equal length headers available for the Z06. Also the only headers to amplify the high pitch sound, while kooks and ARH make the tone deeper.

Here's a link to my current setup. More videos on my main page .

That is what I am taking about. Who makes that header wrap? Imo, it is a must have item for aftermarket headers. I have heard vids of those traditional headers, Kooks/ARH, it kind of altered the sounds of the exhaust like you had described. That is not what the LT6's true characteristic.
I like the smooth transition of this system aswell vs the traditional. No CEL? Thanks for sharing Sergio.

Heat blankets are included with the headers . CEL won't come on if you keep your cats on, but you might not be happy with the sound if you dont replace them with either HFC or cat deletes .

I have HFC installed but haven't had the chance to drive with them on yet. I got the exhaust but haven't install. There were no issue with CEL on my SR with these 2 combination. Will see how that goes with the Z06.
I will get the 841 when the time comes to complete my aftermarket exhaust setup especially it includes a heat blanket as well.

Big fan of a higher pitch sound. Seems like the Concept 841 headers provide that with noticeable pitch change staring around 3500rpms and not having to rev to the moon.
Does anyone know if they provide any hp/tq gains or is it purely for eargasims😂

They’re apparently working on a 4-tip catback, so I’m hoping that looks better than the current system. Otherwise I’m just getting the headers and going with a different catback.

The Avior exhaust system sounds pure F1, dont know if youve looked at those yet.

My favorite and the price point doesnt break the bank.

AWE is my next favorite, but there is a noticable pitch change, away from F1 and closer to SR territory.

That was the big no no for me with 2 -tip. It just doesn't look right.

Interested to see your experience. Ive subbed to many threads on Cats waiting for one that wont trip CEL, whether through o2 sensor extensions or otherwise, but seems like tuning is the best we got.

Even milltek, which at one point had "no CEL" claims has backed away from that. Some note that they'll clear the CEL and it returns within 10-15 mi.

Which HFC did you go with? I would like to go with HFCs that dont trip CEL without tunjng, but seems to be a unicorn.

Most exhausts for our playform yield 15 hp on the high end, but depending on the setup, there is up to a 50% weight savings over factory, thats for the track setup without mufflers or valves of course.

There are a couple of videos ive seen on this.

Justin (horsepower obsessed) did a comparison on factory to AWE, but there is also a dedicated exhaust video comparing corsa, awe, paragon, and another that i cant remember at the moment.

I had the 2M HFC on my SR and I am installing them on my Z because of the positive experience.

I just looked at Milltek's site and noticed this:
NO CEL for up to 2025 vehicles without the software update

Very interesting. I wonder if they plan on making a revision? Fabspeed uses the HJS cat too and still makes the no CEL guarantee, yet supposedly some still do.

Yeah, that was completely wierd to me, those were the 2 exact options i was between before starting to read reviews on this forum of those experiencing CELs with them. I was heartbroken lol
