Default Soler throttle controller question

If the controller display is attached to the throttle control in the car, can a thief access the Bluetooth code via the display and pair a second phone to the controller and unlock the throttle pedal. Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, that would be a possibility if the display is left installed and accessible inside the vehicle. However, the display does not need to be installed for the throttle controller to operate.

You can completely remove the display after installation and simply hide the wire that plugs into it if you prefer. All of the controller’s functions can be managed directly from your phone through the SOLER PRF Bluetooth app, including the anti-theft feature.

Many customers choose to run the system this way for a cleaner setup and added peace of mind.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. I'm happy to help.
