Default Soler Throttle Controller Question

I've read quite a few threads and watched a number of videos about the subject controller. I've just ordered one for my 2026 Z06. i have what is no doubt a completely stupid question. Has anyone noticed any changes to the initial startup of your car? I know that this controller impacts the accelerator pedal sensitivity, and thus, when starting the car without touching the gas pedal, it would seem that there should be no change when initially starting the car, but curious if there might be some kind of impact. I'm sure my car is no different than anyone else's, in that the RPM pops up to just below 3000 rpm before immediately reducing below that, and then continues to settle lower in the rev range after a few more seconds. Just wondering if the Soler has any affect on startup. Thanks for answering what I'm sure is a stupid question.

I have CAI, throttle bodies, and throttle controller and my startup is different. Its been a real long time, but I think the rpms stay higher longer before going down to around 900rpm. I think it settles at around 1k for a bit before going below. I vaguely remember there was a difference.

Now for you. Since you only have the controller right now. That is the same way I started out. You can change the controller to OEM setting and see if there is a difference immediately and share you results..

I didn't see a difference and wouldn't expect you would since the controller is about changing the percentage the throttle gets when pushing down on the gas pedal. Since your foot is off the pedal the percentage would be zero stock or with controller. At startup the ECM is controlling the startup and the RPMs

That is an interesting question, I can see how I would lead you to think that it may be affected... I installed it on my new Z06 and I don't think it has changed it, if it did it is not enough for me to notice...

I've had Soler Throttle controllers on all my Corvettes. Zero difference in start up.
