Underside air cooling deflectors

I’ve been reading about these on this forum, they seem to be all made out of metal, any thoughts or advice about them being made out of ABS plastics?

The plastic ones will work but just don't hit anything with them. But why buy plastic ones when you can buy the metal ones on either EBay or Amazon for same or cheaper money (around $40 ea)

I can get plastic ones for $20, I prefer metal of course,
but if they hit the ground! I’d rather have plastic,as the metal ones could possibly create damage if they drag on ground.

I would get the plastic ones. They are designed to break away instead of ripping if they hit something
