C8 HTC Smart Top Module

Hello all,
I purchased a 2025 Zo6 HTC last year and I’m considering installing the Smart Top Module but I would like to hear some opinions from folks that have purchased it.
Any feedback appreciated.

Seems like a ton of money just to be able to close the top remotely. But I get it.

Is it as hard to install as the instructions make it appear?

No. Extremely easy. Plug and play. Most difficult issue is removing the OEM foam tape wrapped around the connector. It can be carefully unwrapped without too much tearing. However, some tearing isn't that big of a deal as the tape can still be adequately salvaged even if torn. Installation is straight forward, and moving the top into position for installation isn't difficult either.

Great convenience mod. I enjoy remote start and right away opening the top. Not waiting for the top movement as the car is ready to go is nice.
Super easy 5 minute install. It’s pricey but I’m enjoying it.
