Soler throttle controller, CEL

This has fixed, thanks everyone.Has anyone installed the soler throttle controller? And as soon as you plugged it in, you started the car and got a check engine light?

I installed mine with no issues. Did you move all the key fobs a safe distance away from your car during the install? If not, that’s probably the cause. Disconnect the battery for 10-15 minutes and see if the check engine light goes away.

I've installed Soler Throttle Controllers on multiple cars. Have never had a CEL.

Make sure the connectors are properly seated. One of the ends has a little play. Ensure both are tight. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes and try again.

I believe you need to leave the door open for about 10 minutes until the car powers down too or you risk a check engine light.

At this point just disconnect the battery and wait a few minutes and reconnect. The light should be gone.

I recall getting a CEL when I installed mine. It was a throttle position sensor code. I just deleted and all has been fine ever since.

My buddy got the light when we installed his last year. We follow the directions to the letter tried several things but couldn't clear light. Sent it back got a new one and all is well.
