Fluid filter question
Stopped by my local Chevy dealer to pick up an engine oil filter, replacement drain plug and an external transmission fluid filter. All they had was the engine oil filter AND the trans fluid filter was $240 !!!
anyone know if it’s available anywhere cheaper?
I want genuine GM.
I see it on Amazon for $105, says it’s GM OEM, but is it really?
does anyone know the part numbers for all three(engine oil filter, trans fluid filter and replacement drain plug)?

Engine oil filter - ACDELCO PF2270G, $12.28
Transmission external filter kit - 24045729, $114.79
Engine oil drain plug - 55577568, $7.84
Oil tank drain plug - 12713651, $3.50
Transmission fluid (quart) - 104130, $22.79
All these are listed in Rockauto.
The metal drian plug and the engine oil filter cap get torqued to 18 lb-ft.
The 4 torx screws that retain the transmission filter cover get torqued to 53 lb-in.
Save all your receipts in the event you need to show for warranty purposes that you performed maintenance on the car.
