Up to 574 miles in almost 2 weeks. Only getting about 200 miles to a tank of gas. Haha she sure is fun though. Get a lot of compliments. Most people dont believe it is stock when they hear it start up. Its a wonderful machine. So much fun driving with the top down. Get worried about the engine and transmission failures. Wish it would stop raining so much.

Picking mine up tomorrow! So happy it took a couple of weeks longer because the market has changed so much it saved me at least $10k.

In Florida you can't do "sold" orders, so every vehicle is dealer stock until the papers are signed. I could have saved a few thousand out of state but would have had to travel or ship the car, so It's a wash. I'll post my pics tomorrow. Red Mist 2LZ Z07 coupe.

My intention was to swap out the CF wheels with the Cup2R's for these at the dealer and then swap them back on track days. Had I known that it didn't come with tires, I honestly wouldn't have ordered them and just got aftermarket street wheels myself.

Now we have to deal with who's paying for the $2500 set of tires. The Dealer called all their people and the people they spoke to are adamant that they do NOT come with tires. However, the dealer agrees with me that based on the UI, they should come with them.

I want to pick it up after their PDI Thursday so I want to get this solved asap.

Any suggestions?
Take a screen shot and call a lawyer. The info is misleading. The "accessory wheel" bullet points for the Stingray do not include the "1" footnote "Paired with summer-only tires". So it is reasonable to interpret the Z06 description of the 5DH as inclusive of the tires. The bullet points for the E-Ray "accessory wheel" are also different.

Did you guys that bought a Z07 get brakes ducts and brake disc protectors? Also is there an owners manual? I don't see any "accessories" in my car. What should be included?

Yes those should be included with the car. I would make sure the dealer didn't install the brake ducts thinking they were required to be installed during PDI.

You absolutely need to get the covers for the CCB rotors. You do not want to be damaging them if you need to remove the wheels......

Granted mine is a non-aero non-Z07, mine came with the brake ducts. But I did not get the low spoiler attachment for my rear spoiler. Not that I mind too much because I prefer the high one, but still slightly disappointing.

Yeah Chevy needs to change the website.

The dealer ended up eating the cost of the tires. We even had a case open with Chevy and it sounded like that they told the dealer to kick rocks and should have done more research before placing the order.

if you got the Z07 package you should have rear brake duct coolers and strikes for tracking the car, plus the protectors for carbon ceramic breaks, a front license plate holder and all the owners manuals etc.

Don't have mine, unless they installed them during prep.

Finally picked my car up on Thursday and got it home! Took quite some time from delivery to the dealership, then transport from TN to CA, then full PPF and ceramic. But boy oh boy was it worth the wait. Only have 130 miles right now, but they've been pure bliss! What a monster, and that's during break in... this things going to be insane!

I did have a CEL after picking up from PPF, which caused me to fail the smog test, but its cleared now and should be good to go!

Looks great!

Guessing the CEL was caused by low battery?

Mine also threw a CEL after being at my shop for 3 weeks. Scanner pulled 9 codes all seeming to point to low battery. Tossed it on my CTEK tender, cleared the codes once it was done, and hasn't come back so far.

MacMulkin mentioned the lo bat leading to a CEL at my delivery. I’ll have to mention to my PPF installer to use the OEM battery minder. Thanks for the tip!

Yup, pretty sure that's what caused it. I may have tracked the location with onstar a few too many times 😬

Same here.

Plus all the times they started it to move it around probably didn’t help either!

Picked mine up on Friday! Unfortunately, I was unable to stop them from the PDI. I got the usual dealer installed swirl marks and scratches, tires left at 40 psi, smears on all the glass, scuffs on the door sill, and WAY overfilled oil. With 2 miles on the ODO there is no way they can correctly check the oil. It is supposed to be at operating temperature and at idle to get the correct reading on the LT6 dry sump.

Porsche doesn't have a dipstick for this exact reason. Too many opportunities to get it wrong and cause major damage. I asked if they checked the oil at PDI and they said "of course" which tells me they did it wrong.
