Damn I thought about that but ended up just buying the calipers. Thanks for posting that up though. The Z is going to go on a diet this summer so lots to think about

C8 Z06 drag pack

😎

315’s vs 345’s the 315’s don’t look that bad I’ll buy 325/30/18’s after these ones are done

Check engine light came on and traction control lights would flash when in 5th gear under load. Both lights are staying on. Sometimes in manual mode the car will not shift even with me pulling the paddle. Weird. Tire height might be the issue ? This drag packed worked perfect on my 2023 Stibgray 🧐

yup, as stated, on my 992 GT3, if you change the “rake”, the nannie’s have a fit!!

what are tire sizes you have now? Based on tire you listed above at 315/30/18, the tire is 2.34” shorter in height.

What I can’t understand is that when I’m auto mode it’s shifts around 8500 every time. Would have thought it would have hit the limiter with small tires.

The front is now 1.1” lower in height vs stock, so overall, your car is about 1.2” lower in the back, and sounds like the nannies don’t like that.

Wondering … if I switch over to a 28” tall drag radial in the back that would take care of these issues. The C8 platform is more finicky than the stray cat I’m feeding right now 😉

Tried mounting my drag pack this am. Didn’t bother with the 18x5 fronts as I’m going to have to sell them 🧐
Thanks for the update

Short tires are going to get you into 4th gear earlier but should be faster. This site is helpful. Shows 133 MPH 4th gear with 315/30/18 versus 145 MPH in 4th gear with stock sizing.

thanks I’ll check that out.
As it is right now with the Z … I can’t engage launch control. No cell at all. So that’s good but I need to figure it out as far as launch control. Getting that to work. If not I’ll have lazy 1.9 60’s

Yeah I'm aware but cutting it close you don't want it to auto shift up prematurely. I'd try it first and if it does that then switch to manual mode when you're in 4th gear to let it rev out. You mentioned going to 325s that should help get a little more MPH too.

Going to try out a few things later this week. This is one run from this past Saturday as you see the 1-2 shift is f’d up and power is being reduced throughout this run

Hope you don't mind me using your thread to bounce a few things around.

I have a 2024 Z51 with mag ride. last week I installed my drag pack rear wheel/tire set up and all is good.
Today I installed my front drag wheel/tire set up and took the car for a ride and as expected the front TPMS warning light came on as expected.
Ok, I do have the TPMS in the rears because they will fit. Fronts, not so much.
It will not go into launch mode now. I guess without the front TPMS in place it's not gonna happen.
Thoughts?
Maybe look into building one of those PVC pipe containers with the TPMS inside?
For the short term I'll throw the front stockers back on I guess.

I have TPMS in front and rears problem is my tire heights now. My car won’t go into launch mode either. The C8’s are finicky as hell. Yup you are going to need the PVC method done or similar. Don’t put the stock ones back on … you got this far so keep rolling forward 😃
