XPEL for C*Z06
For those of you whom already own your car and have a few miles on it. What areas on the Z do you need to cover with xpel and how much was it?

Just got mine back a couple of weeks ago and had full front, A-pillars, door sills, rockers, most of the rear fender, intake trim and the black trim piece behind the window. Then of course ceramic over all of it.

Xpel
I went full Xpel on the whole car in stealth. I definitely do not regret it!
I forgot to note, all gray is stealth and black is clear Xpel.

I went for the entire car as well granted I originally was planning to do just the high impact areas. Don't get hung up on brand so much as the need for a good installer.

I did the full nose and mirrors. Starting to see some small chips on rear panels below Z06 logo. Having Xpel put on there next week.

Hey guys. Hoping for some feedback. I had my vehicle fully wrapped with xpel and I'm disappointed in the results. 4 big issues I'm having. First is the rear bumper sides are done in 3 pieces. I get the C8 platforn has a lot of sharp creases and is challenging to wrap but 3 pieces seems pretty extreme. It's been wrapped since December and the seams are showing more. The other big issue is the vertical surface on the outside of the intake is not wrapped around the corner leaving a bit of the front facing surface unprotected. Third, they didn't xpel the inner painted surface of the side intakes. Finally the didn't protect the forward surfaces of the side mirror arm. I'm hoping I can get some feedback before I reach out to them to get these issues remedied. They had already tried to defend the work on the front when I first picked up the car so I'd like to provide some evidence of xpel done differently when I go back. Any feedback would be appreciated
Excuse the dirty surface. Pollen season is in full effect

They tucked everywhere except the front area I posted about. Have you had yours done? Would love to see some pics that I can send to them for those areas I posted about. Thanks.

Rear bumper will have several relief cuts but could have been done better. Material is expensive so attempting it as all one piece without relief cuts is risky for them.
For the front, mirror arms and side intake painted areas, agree those should have been protected, The side intakes suck to get in there but can/has been done without issue. Its not uncommon for an installer to use a template and nothing wrong with that but they can be modified to have more material in places, delete cutouts for emblems etc.

Not yet, cars being built today then having it shipped directly to PPF once it's at the dealer. Toured the facility where I'm having done and they did some great work. No C8s there though at that time
