One of the things that annoyed me with the stealth interior is the steering wheel still has shiny silver on it so I tried ordering these cheap overlays off Amazon and please with the initial results

Shame that black ABS is all that we can get. In lieu of the factory addressing it--it's a pretty damn good alternative.

I would be tempted to color it to match my trim/exterior; just like the color stripe on the top of the wheel.

I'm looking for the carbon fiber ones - what are they called (or do you have a link to what you bought)? I saw on another post that someone bought them from Jogon on ebay, but searching for "C8 carbon fiber steering wheel trim" gives a ton of other things, like buttons and the black pieces around the buttons, but this small thin piece - not sure what it's referred to as...

For $95, it had better be anodized aluminum to match stealth trim!

OEM can't even match their own stealth trim with the rear center speaker finish. Love the stealth interior option, but that part still irks me.

Of all the nitnoid things that we can individually bitch about on the C8--the lack of comprehensive thought put into stealth trim is perhaps the most baffling of all. Because the cost of "completing the set" is negligable--even including things like the steering wheel and horn cover trims. I can sort-of understand the argument against not having things like auto-pilot and ambient lighting. But anodized trim pieces that match the existing option--that seems like a "WTF is this not a thing already?" kind of thing. Worst case, just add another $100 on the package cost. Literally 0 people will be put off from buying stealth trim that costs $100 more and includes the shifter trim, horn trim and wheel spoke trims.
