Well I just got back from a small road trip with my Z06, just went to Columbus for the Hell City Tattoo Expo and got some ink. Anyways, when I got home I was cleaning up the car some, and notice that my high wing is a little bit loose. Does anyone know what torque size the bolts are? They are 5 star, but not sure of the size. Not a big deal, as I will head to Home Depot tomorrow and just get a small set. Just curious if anyone knew the size off hand.. thanks in advanced.

Don't recall the size, buy pretty sure they are a special security type. Doubt HD will have that bit.

Same topic as loose wing thread started April 30, 2024. To keep tight using blue Loctite was the majority of comments. I ended using used locking split washers.

Keep it under 200 MPH in the future and you won't have to deal with it comming loose!!!
