I set my HUD with the info button. but every time I shut the car off it defaults to the screen with. all the Max info
id like to set it just speed and gear. and have it stay. for next time. is there a way to save the info. and not default to basic screen

Without going to the car, and doing this from memory (so forgive errors), there are some limitations of what you want to do.

• You can set the HUD display independently of the dash display in My Mode, and then you can shut down and start up in My Mode (And drive in My Mode) and keep the HUD how you like it.
• You can lock the dash gauges/display and HUD to be the same in all modes. For example, you can use the HUD you like and have every drive mode be in, say Tour display. Then startup and all drive modes will have the same display and HUD
• You are not able to lock the HUD display into a single mode across all drive modes and have the dash gauges/display change with drive modes (although once you manually change HUD it will stay that way for the drive cycle)

If you are good with either of the first 2 bullets, you are ok. If you are trying to achieve the 3rd option, I don't believe you can.

thanks ill try this on my 2022 c8. it would stay but on my 2024 ZO6 it defaults back to alll the info not needed

3 things that I have very little use for on my Z: HUD, wall of buttons and the shoulder dislocating cell phone cradle.

hud is a must. for me an never use phone cradle I think the buttons. are cool but. 2025 ur getting ur wish on that I think
