I know it's little consolation, but you're welcome to ride out with me if you like.

Thanks for the offer guys, but I'd rather take my own car and that's not possible yet.

I went in today to check the progress and the engine is in, fuel line hooked up. All they need to do is install the distributor, wires and exhaust.

They say it should be another week. I predict 3 more. As long as it runs properly with no leaks, I'm happy.

We'll see how it goes.

Les

Glad to hear that there's progress on your car Les. I hope you don't have to wait another 3 weeks especially when the weather has been good lately.

that's good new Les! hopefully his wknd you'll have it. I am going to have some minor work done on mine but will drop it off at Santos just before I head badk to So. Cal. Thought about driving there but with all the unused airmiles we have might as well use some and rent a C6 vert once there. Come on up when you are back on the road, I;d luv to have a ride.

Well, the exhaust doesn't fit, so they have to modify it. I told them that I need it by the 1st of August at the latest, not that it matters now.

Is this the same exhaust that was on the car when you brought it in?
If so ask them if the headlights interfere with the intake.

An entire exhaust system for any car can be built in a couple of hours ..... there is something wrong with these guys.

These guys have got to be kidding!

I removed my stock manifolds, A/C, installed headers and connected to my side pipes in less than one day.

What type of recommendation did you have of this place?

Take the car without the exhaust from them and take it to a muffler shop....they can fabricate entire system in less then 4 hrs.

Exhaust is in as of yesterday.

All they have to do is put in the fluids. I suspect they put in a litre of oil a day I gotta laugh. What else can I do at this point?
