I'm still going. Friday nights are usually not the day to go because all the people exhibiting cars (and even vendors) are usually not there yet, Saturday and Sunday are the big days when they all show up.

FYI, Bruce...

They were ALL there. That's the only part I enjoyed, talking to the guys with their cars! The show is still small.

ENJOY IT!

Another month and a half to go! I know I will be going as usual. Hopefully we can get a small forum meet going there like last year!

Well, I thought it was a good show!

I guess if you've never been there before, you wouldn't know that it has always been that size - much smaller than Performance World - but to each his own.

They were plenty of nice cars there, including my favorite, a Pro Touring '70 Cuda with aftermarket everything on it (including an independant rear suspension!) and a late model Viper V-10 under the hood! It was absolutely stunning, but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I'll post my pics later when I have some more time. I've always thought of Speedorama as the warm up to Performance World anyways, something to do during the winter to break the monotony of cold, snow, and ice.

From the pictures I have seen it looks smaller then last year's show.
They need open up the tunnel and some halls across the street and pack them full of cars.
It would be cool if one hall was filled with race cars, they should get in touch with VARAC and other vintage race car associations. Have one of the shows sponsors give some kind of incentive to one type of vehicle (change it every year) have a GM, Ford, Mopar, German, AMC... year.

BTW That is NOT the electron blue original paint on that car.

The car was re-painted BMW BLUE. Nice job.

(chatted with the painter.. at the booth).

-zB.

This was one of about only 5 corvettes at the show.

That is correct, the colour was BMW LeMans Blue that was used on the M5 cars.

My car used to be white originally then I had it re-painted white with the blue strips at another body shop.

The latest paint job was done by Champion Motors who's owner is a member of this board, Rob Ing (Boost Master) and his partner Peter, who is the painter. These are great guys to deal with and their work is top notch. They made a hugh improvement to my cars appearance.

Old colour...

New colour...
http://usera.imagecave.com/denttech/...EbEKEL_fs2.jpg...WOW, it even looks better in person!

I would recommend Champion Motors to anybody looking for a top notch paint job. They are on O'Connor Rd. just west of Victoria Park.
