C3 Light relocation
I'm slowly collecting parts to relocate the headlights in behind the grills on my Vette. The goal is to remove the weight of the factory headlight assemblies, get brighter light, and improve aerodynamics at night because the headlight buckets are down.
Here are a few pics, stock vs my setup. The bulbs are aftermarket H3 HID 6000K (The real HIDs with ballasts)

good idea, our std lights are pretty poor given today's new lighting technology. I always thought that our vettes looked like crap when the lights were up and the L88 style didn't look much better. One of the many reasons I like the C6's - the pop up look had its day in the 60's and early 70's then just looked dated.
