Well Bill and Bruce ... I saw the car before either of you guys! 
The Corvette Racing guys were really proud of what they did ... they even took time lapse pictures of the change over! Should be on SPEED at some point!
Funny thing though ... the Sebring Boss was not too impressed ... he informed Corvette Racing infront of all the Corvette Coral guys & gals ... that they should have warned them! The Corvette guys all kind of chuckled, thinking he was kidding ... but he really wasn't!
What a dick! 
Speaking of dick ... Dr. Dick "The Flying Dentist" Thompson made a special apperance at the Coral ... signed a bunch of autographs and was presented with a bunch of gifts ... I spoke at length with his wife ... she had taken my seat while I was outside putting stuff in my car! So I sat down in the free seat beside her ... and we started to chat ...
I had just gotten another Corvette History DVD before I came down to Sebring ...and there is a clip of Dr. Thompson and the other test driver testing an early coup and convertable ... and then chatting with Zorra ... very 50'ish ... "So, how did you like the car?" ... "It handled really well" But it was cool to see the historical clip ... and then actually meet the guy!

Here we see the boys watching all the various TV's including the Weather Network...
Here we get a shot of Ron's New Racing Helmet ...
Here is Ron and his wife Linda ... enjoying a semi-private moment ...
Oh ya ... and here is the White C6.R breaking into turn 1 ...
I spoke to one guy with Corvette Racing ... and asked him if they would keep the car white for the entire 2007 ALMS season ... he said probably not ... I told him, they should try to do it for Mosport ... and he said that there could be a possibility ... I think we should start an "Official" petition for this!

It rained like crazy on Friday ... The Star Mazda Race was kinda funny to watch because of all the rain ... but you gotta hand it to those racers ... the conditions were brutal, but they got out there and put it on the line!
Would love to do this trip again ... Should I start a sign up thread for the 2008 race?
