Default Calgary blues...

We've had some pretty nice weather in Calgary lately so I've been getting a bit excited thinking the salt cleansing rains might come early this year and I can get my car out. Then I woke up to more f@#$in' snow this morning! Back to reality. Aargh!

That is an awesome plate! I can't believe it was still available.

Saw a VERY nice LT-1 out this morning... on the Deerfoot no less. More guts than I have.

I was almost sick when I landed in Calgary today... maybe just jealous. All snow was melted here, 6 foot snowbanks at home.

Snow? What's that? We haven't had more than an inch or two on the ground at once all month and it's always been gone by the end of the day. (Bet we get nailed in the next couple of weeks...)

Highway 567 (big hills springs road)this one was only $57 the one I got in my truck 2 weeks ago was $115 don't know why the differnce.
As for the deal with the sheriff's just away for the province to make more money.

The other bad one now is 567 to Black diamond (the other way)- i thought the sheriffs were just for transporting prisoner to and from the jails, i would have kept going if one tried to pull me over, lol - i didn't realize. Next time try 22x to Rocky or south of millerville

Maybe because your truck has 4 side windows whereas the Vette only has 2? 57$ is awefully close to exactly half of 115$!

I have absolutely no self control, maybe it has something to do with not getting my Z06 until last fall. I've had it out several times since Christmas, but only when it's been clear and warm for a stretch. Blasted from Airdrie to Canmore for dinner last night, I love that 1A from Cochrane but it's getting pretty rough.

There are a lot of police in and around Airdrie.I work there and if you drive around late at night every third car is a police car.My wife got a nice speeding ticket on the 567 a while ago but my good friend took it to court and had it reduced to nothing.I have never seen a guy who is so good in court.Much better than the guys at points.I like the drive from Airdrie to Canmore.I ski a lot so i drive there often.I go by Morley on the old highway. It is more fun to drive. Hey Darcy.Yes that was my vette in for repairs.I finally got that power steering control valve fixed.I guess it works.I paid the bill and my wife grabbed the keys and away she went. Not much i can do about it though. She is leaving for the states this week so all of the parts i got on ebay will be coming back with her. Most importantly the new carpet. So i will have some fun with it for a few weeks then rip apart the interior put in the new carpet and stereo and then enjoy the summer.. Richard
