Event Idea
Hmmm, I just thought of an idea. How about approaching the OPP, Metro or York police, for a day of shooting chase scenes. Maybe charge something like $50 or $100 per driver and donate the proceeds to a charity. As it's a charitible event, we might be able to get a free ad in the Sun or Star to attract more drivers.
Have some hot dogs and hamburgers on a bbq as well. Turn it into a day long event.
A good place to do this would be at the old Downsview Airfield. We can use one of the runways, this way it's not on public roads or in a mall parking space. I did my Level 1 BMW driver training there. Lots of room.
Have a road course set out, similar to the SOLO II, not too long so everyone gets a chance, do a brief chase within safe speeds, probably less than 60kph so we don't have to wear helmets, and then end up getting caught and arrested, at gun point (we can use fake but real looking guns).
Everyone can take turns taking pictures and videos of everyone else.
Would anyone be interested in something like this?

I've asked a friend, who does charity events around Canada about this idea. She has contacts for just about everything.
She'll let me know as she is going to ask around for me. If she gets enough interest (no commitments, just table talk), she'll hook me up. Heck she was even interested.

The last thing I want is to be chased and arrested by the cops.....The last time that happened there were broken bones, busted teeth and fat lips......just for the record I have never lost a tooth in a fight or ever had a broken bone!!!!!
