Well Carlisle is a ticking boys and girls so I've been hustling like crazy to get the car ready.
In the last 2 weeks got a new trans installed, Clutch Master, Slave cyl, hurst shifter, C5 brake upgrade with cross drilled /slotted rotors and hawk pads on all 4 corners and installed the new gears so both headlights motors are now functioning once again. All I have left is the radio antenna and I'm ready for Carlisle! If I get time maybe a new stereo. Actually what I would really like to install is a DVD NAV unit in the ZR1. So how much beer am I suppossed to have ready for Friday again? Way too excited!
Can't wait also. 5 more sleeps. Bonnie (aka SHWIMBO) is also very excited. I think that I am about to pull the trigger on a tunnel plate. Any thoughts?

Hard to say Pierre, can't say I have enough C6 experience to determine the relevance of a tunnel plate but if it's what you want I say go for it. Remember it's about your comfort and enjoyment. After a few minutes in my buddies GTS viper I couldn't take it anymore due to heat.

Go for the tunnel plate. Got one installed, albiet on a C5, but it did tighten the car up, especially over bumps. Keeping the trany tunnel cool is an added plus.
