Just kidding!

I don't know how you do it! I haven't driven mine since Dec 22nd and I'm going crazy! But after bringing it home from the detail shop nice and clean that day, I put a coat of Meguiar's #21 on it and the car is so clean that I didn't want to drive it! And since I'm on holidays there is no need to take it out, so it's just stayed in my garage. But I am going into withdrawl already! I've never gone this long without driving it, I just hope the battery doesn't die on me!

The forecast for next week looks great, 7C on Sunday, 11C on Monday, 13C on Tuesday and 12C on Wednesday! Monday says 80% chance of rain but the others are only 40% chance. That rain should wash the roads clean though, so you guys that are storing your cars for the winter need to take them out for a nice long drive once the roads get cleaned off!

I am going NUTS!!!!

I NEEDS to drive it!!!!!
But I'm kinda glad its stored far away, no full insurance anyways so I can't be tempted. At least I'm not racking up the KMs for these few months. Thats the only way I can console myself!

Pat, Greg, Jeff, I will be living vicariously through you, Drive em and enjoy them!!!!

But I'll be joining youse soon enough!

But racking up the km is fun!! I love seeing new milestones, I can't wait to see my car turn over 150,000km in a few months, then 200,000 then 300,000, etc. I don't plan on ever selling it so I don't care one bit about it's resale value. (as I've mentioned before, when I do get a C6 someday I still am going to keep te C5 for my wife to enjoy)

Corrado ... I feel your pain buddy ... although, with this weather, I'm in pain too! It has been a week since I had my baby out on the road!

Last New Years Day was one of the best driving days through the winter ... this year, not so much ... hopefully it is not an omen for the coming year!

I had mine out last week right up until Sunday.
Washed it, put the tender back on then covered it up until we get another good day. Next week looks like we might be able to sneak a vette day or two in.

Hey buds!

Don't get me wrong , I am NOT afraid to put the KMs on my car at all, its no garage queen. I put 21,000 this season alone. No where near Mark's numbers, but I'll bet much more than the average vette does. And I love EVERY minute of it!!!! The car runs GREAT, but tires and other things that go aren't exactly cheap on these, and I will likely want to buy a new C7 when they come out, would be nice if my car was still worth SOME money.

But that being said, once driving season hits again, I WON'T be saying no to any cruises for fear of racking up clicks, these babies are meant to be DRIVEN!!!
