Default C3 - storage tray restoration

if you are looking to restore the inside of your storage trays

you can get the kit locally.

http://www.leevalley.com/wood/page.a...50,43298,43300

it makes the fuzzy interior new again

I thought I'd share this info.

Man, I got to get back to work.

all you guys with the winter mods are making me jealous

all I seem to be doing is freezing my butt off and shovelling snow.

the useless storage tray of the C3 can be brought inside to work on, so consider this my winter project.

You, sir, and your car, certainly have nothing to be jealous about ...the rest of us are just trying to catch up to your level

But wish I had known about his mod earlier...would have saved me a whack of doe

Oh wait, I'm suppost to be on my best behaviour due to that wrenching session post......

I understood Romeo's sense of humour hence no response by him.

As for you Mo, first you threaten a fellow Italian with hit man Vito then.....................you want to do a munga cake interior on my Sleeping Beauty. In the words of a on and off friend. "YOU AND I ARE FINISHED!!
(Flip ya for the next beer )"

Seriously guys, I'm having major withdrawals, I maybe even worse than Corrado, I count the hours too.

I'm going to buy this stuff to keep me close to the vette, the wife shouldn't be too pissed when I have the storage trays on the dining room table for days.

I'd be tinkering with bigger things if I had a heated garage.

Ok, I thought I'd go flock myself this past weekend.

check it out

before resto.....

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...g?t=1203465141

after repairing the lip and some flocking.

http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b1...g?t=1203465202

the inside of the tray is velvet-like, as it left the factory.
I kept the overspray etc and the date code is on the bottom untouched.

Sold!

Romeo, that looks great, I'm gonna check the condition of mine. If there is enough I think Mo wants to do my whole interior in that flocking.

I don't think Mo will take the plastic off of his seats and carpet long enough for us to try it.
