Ok the news.....
Well some of you know and some of you don't but here is the scoop. I have just started looking for a C5 Z06. I have wanted the Z06 for a long time now and figured now is as good a time as any. The dilema I have is the ZR1. I love this car to death (if you ask Lauri or Pierre that is my fate).... Anyway I'm not sure what to do as having two Vettes is nice but not financially smart considering the amount of use they get. So anyway I'm looking to buy a Red Z06 and then decide which car I like better and probably sell the other. This means if I love the C5 then I will ultimately sell the ZR1 quite possibly. But anyways I have taken my search stateside as the Z06 pricing just cannot be beat. I am looking for the low mile trailer Queen and I may have a bead on one. So wish me luck because the first gathering of the year will hopefully be in my new C5. The sad part is I have been scouring the aftermarket already... I'm hoping to find some really fast floor mats like Steve and Mo
So if anyone knows of a low mile Red C5 Z06 2002-2004 for a good price please let me know. Thanks.
A couple pics of the nice Z06's I have been looking at:

Mikey,
This is w-a-a-a-a-y-y-y too funny (the really fast floor mats part). You know that we will back you up on this. Heck, I'll even take a bullet for ya if Ursula takes aim at you
Good luck. You will find the right one. Just take your time.

That's awesome Mike!!!!
I know it will be very hard parting with your baby, but its not like you are buying a Nissan or any other brand... you're keeping it in the Corvette family!! that should ease your mind a little bit.
Good luck on finding a pristene trailor queen, we all know there's TONS of them out there!! Thanks to all those dudes who take such good care of our future cars!
The one you posted looks MINT, and great rims!!!!!
See you in the new wheels in 48 days!!!!!!!

Mike, I see your dilemma, I really love your ZR1 and think it's very cool. The one time we met at Chapters on a Saturday morning I think I told you I was a teenager just getting my license and was drooling over the magazine pictures of the "King of the Hill" when it was just released. Working at a Chev dealership at the time, we only ever had one come in for service and the manager wouldn't let me take it for a spin.
How many years have you owned it? I know I asked you before but forgot. I realize there comes a point where a change is necessary.
Good luck on your search for a new car. C5Z's are awesome but not quite as rare or unique as a ZR1. Too bad the new ones are so dam much money.

In one word...yes.
I haven't gotten anywhere yet as I am currently looking at several vehicles as possibilities. Hoping to make a decision on one very soon however.
Jeff, I hear ya on uniqueness etc but there are other issues that come along with things like that. I love the ZR1 and we'll see what I end up doing but for now I guess I keep both.....
*****...thanks Buddy....I'll keep you in mind....just realized however...Will I have to change my code name to Cdn Z06 Mike?

Wow...exciting stuff Mike And the one above looks like a winner...good luck with your searching.
Now let me see if I can help you out with that floor mat thing...
These have been dynoed to add 15-20 RWHP
A set of these have been know to add about 30 rear ponies
And if you really want to break the bank, go with these twin turbo mats..guaranteed to generate about 60 more horse
But whatever you do, don't get these
They're known to actually take HP away
If you need a co-pilot for the return journey, just hollar
