Loving the driving speeds in NorCal
OK, so I am loving my new career as CTO. This company is great and the pace is fast at work. What is very kewl other than the effeminate Sebring Vert (Arctic White) that the rental company "upgraded" me to, is the 85 MPH speed that they drive at here. I gotta move the Surfer here in a year or so.

Finaly left the office around 18:00 PST tonight and it was still plenty of daylight. it seemed as though all the Vettes were out from C4's to C6's and in all colours. Gotta love this "State-of-mind" called California. I had to drive into Los Gatos to go to the Apple store to look for a Visio-like software to do network drawings where I happened onto this matching set of VY Z06's - how is that?
Suffice to say that I was driving the "mental-rental" vert with the top down. While the climate system is malfunctioning and it tales forever to clear the morning mist off the inside of the windshield, the roof still comes down, albeit after three minutes. But I swear that nothing beats driving a vert in 68F in Northern California.
Sierra - out

Welcome to the "Topless Side"
The most enjoyment I get driving the Vette is with the top down.
It's a totally different car with the Ragtop up or the Hardtop on. With either top up the the car is much stiffer, handles better and is much quieter. But going topless is what it's all about for me. This is the closest feeling to riding my HD I can get, but with the added benefits of not wearing a helmet and the need for protective clothing.
When it gets hot you turn on the AC. When it gets cold you crank up the heater.
Now all we need is to get rid of this Fu*&%*G Winter.
I think now I will head down to the Garage turn on the overhead heater put the top down sit in the Vert and cry.

So true. I got to see many nice Vettes down here and I must say that the most "hornacious" Vette barring the C2 is a Yellow Vert C5 with CCW rims. I just love the way the back end is so squared off. Man do I miss my Surfer. Well if I am lucky enough, I may retire soon enough to really enjoy it some more. Right now, it looks like I'm on the "Freedom 105 Plan". That's where you get to work till you're 100 and retire for the last 5 till you croak. I just haven't got Jobs or Gates' $doh
See you Friday.
