Ok so the headers and cat back installed it was time for the intake and new fuel system.

Still waiting on the tanks and rad cover to come back from paint and the custom coil pack cover's to come back from the water jet.
Here are a few pictures for now.

The intake and fuel system

And thanks to these two guys :

I will no longer have to be crawling around under the Vette's ,when this little item arrives May 1st

Ok that's enough loafing, getting back to work now

Way to go Manny! The intake looks wicked trick. Love the carbon fiber look.

Tony and I will probably be buying our hoists this summe. There were some great prices to be had at the show and the guy is local to us which is the best part.

Looks good Manny. One question for you and then a second one to you and or the group.

1) Who makes those fuel rails?

2) How do you know if your garage floor has enough concrete/ or the right concrete for a 2 post lift? I wanted to do one of those as well.

Manny,

I think you tore a page out of Gettreal's book when you started your company. His ulterior motive was to mod his own car Good for you!!

Hey guys, Lauri also got new headers! She modded her hair style - doesn't that count as a mod? It is 09:00am - still too early for me.

Miss you all - take care

Hi Steve :

To answer your questions:

The fuel rails come from E.C.P, I have them made State side:
$189.99 + Tax
The fitting's beleive it or not cost more than the rails.

I went back and forth with the 3 options for lifts.
Scissor, 4 post and 2 post. I determined that the 2 post was the best for what I was doing. It gave me acess to the entire car and did not take over the entire garage. I will be having it installed in the middle of my over sized 2 car garage. This way I still have working space on either side ,and if need be can park one car on the lift and one underneath.

To install a 2 post you need to have at least 4" of cured concrete and no cracks within 6" of the mounting base.
When I drilled out for my custom made ramps I measured the hole depth and found it to be 5". At this point I made up my mind and went with the 2 post. So if you take a small drill bit, let's say a 1/8" or 1/4" that will at least give you 4" of depth, and drill a hole some where in the area where you are going to put the lift , you will be able to tell right away if you have enough concrete depth.

The 243 heads for what I get them for and how much Hp I'm looking is the best budget fit for me personally. The cam may and may not pass just depends on how good I get with my new toy EFI live
