So tonight after putting the kids to bed, I'm thinking about grabbing a beer out the fridge, sitting in front of the TV with my laptop, and seeing what's new on the auto forums.
Then I think to myself... instead of surfing the net why don't I actually go out and drive one of my cars for a change? Took out the C4 for its first real run of the season. It was perfect, windows open with a tiny bit of heat coming through. She ran real nice. Up and down some of the back roads in the dark. Even dodged a speed trap which gave me a nice adrenaline rush!
Gotta admit lately I've been wondering... why do I keep and maintain these cars when I barely have time to use them? After the 2nd time I "accidentally" chirped the tires between gears I remembered why. Fun night... and enjoying a Johnny Black w Soda now. Summer's great!
Thanks guys. I'm 2 for 2! Tonight brother-in-law needed a ride to go pick up his car at a dealer and I stepped up.
Had a nice little incident at a stoplight where it was 2 lanes merging into one. I was in left lane. Guy in the right lane tried to time the light, coast through, and beat me to the single lane. I'm sure you can guess what happened...
