Seems a bunch of us are using it lately, as I recall Patman had a bunch of comparison info that he posted last fall, and the specs were quite a bit higher than Mobil 1, even though most oils meet/exceed the manufacturer's recommendations... so I've been using it since then....actually, I'm on my 1st change with it now... couple thousand kms so far, still so clear it's hard to see on the stick....

Mobil one is junk-I wouldn't put in my lawnmower. Penzoil or Castrol for me-and I change it out after each ession on the dyno-which is about once a week.
If the junk is good enough for GM it's good enough for me.

Try getting GM to service anything-new policy is deny any claim.
And when they do fix it they don't replace it they rebuild it at the shop, tranny's and motors.
When I tracked my car I used Mobil1, then i noticed the intake was getting a good oil film in it-then I put on a catchcan and saw how much oil the catchcan collected. When I switched oil brands the consumption dropped by half! That was enough to make me stop paying the "premium" for Mobil 1. Patman's oil analysis can back that claim. Mobil 1 is not what it used to be.

Went to Canadian Tire yesterday to pick up a case. And of course, they were sold out. I hate going to Canadian tire. I guess I'll be going to Walmart instead.
