Welcome my "new" Vette !!!!
Keeping this under the radar screen has been tough, but rolled in last nite with a B A E-utiful 04C5Z CE
Bought it from a great forum member, Alanhang, in Winnipeg. What a guy Stand up person, car was everything he said it would be, and more, even had the oil changed before I got there!!! Also threw in service manuals, car cover, some posters, a few Z06 shirts, column lock bypass kit, extra antenna, key fobs etc etc. He knows his stuff, having owned several Vettes including a 58, 64, a C6/C5 and get this, a 70 BB 370hp car.
Got what I think was a great deal on a car that is friggen awesome. Flew into Winnipeg Sat morning, Alan was waiting for me at the airport, did our thing and was on the road just after noon, got home last nite at 8pm.
As most of you may know, I had a 01 Vert, but this Z rocks and is no comparison to it….a street legal race car IMHO.
Don’t you C3 guys be hatin’ on me…..I love my 73 as this is the car from my youth, but needs change, and I find myself wanting to be able to go a long cruises, throw some clubs in the trunk, be able to drive anywhere, and I just can’t do that in the 73. Cripes, just a drive to the city in that is a tank of gas, prolly do 3 trips the same in the Z.
Here is some pics, I had every species of insect indiginent to Manitoba and Ontario splattered across the front of the car, so I spent the day detailing it….. keep your eyes open for the “Blue Bullitt” (and my pizzed bank manager)
heading home,
pizz break,
cleaned, washed, detailed
tucked away with it's bedmate,

Very nice!!!
I saw the ad for his car and thought that he was giving it away since it was actually priced lower than the American cars.
Congrats on the car!

Congrats Mr Mike!!!!
Don't feel bad, the C3 is a GORGEOUS car, but gas prices alone are reason enough for a newer more efficient model. Both cars are awesome, but now with the C5, you can get great performance and decent mileage, especially on the highway.

Mike, congratulations on what I think is not just a gorgeous car and an amazing deal as well. You will love the car without a doubt. This is going to be such an awesome summer.
