Default ****yellow Zr1 Pics From Calgary****

Well, I must say, she looks good in person! The car was delivered straight off the assembly line from Bowling Green, it is delivered with none of the Carbon Fiber ground effects attached, they come inside the car and the guys at GSL put them on. This car is one of the last "Pilots" built. It is EXACTLY the same as the production ones except for the serial numbers. These cars are driven by execs etc to make sure no problems arise down the road, they try and catch and correct the problems before we get them. I think this one gets an easier life hanging around getting oohs and aahs.
Enjoy!

No... Sorry, it was surrounded by glass on two sides and Corvettes on the other side, the front was the only real place to take a far away picture. Hmmm, maybe if I stood on the other side of the Red Z06 I could of got a full pic of it .....too late now, Damm! Actually, I don't think I could of....maybe...oh I don't know......

Thanks for the pics.

Is the clear window in the hood worth all the hooplah about how much it costs - how does it look with the hood closed??

I don't know of any "hooplah" about the window in the hood costing much; I think you are referring to the protective additive in the clearcoat over the carbon fiber parts

Yep, it's really going to get the snot run out of it sitting on the dealers showroom floor. I guess the customers of the production ZR'1 are going to have to do the testing for GM, as usual.

Looks awesome... but it could've used some more wet sanding at the factory to get rid of the orange peel it has in some areas.

With it showing the KM's for the warranty info, and this... Z49 - CANADIAN BASE EQUIPMENT does it mean this is a Cdn Spec car? I couldn't see the speedo very well when I was there.
Also, does it say anywhere that it is a pre-production and can never be sold?

***EDIT** Maybe this indicates it is not for resale?...BARS Order Type : 10 - P.E.P./SPL EVENT

Sometimes these cars are put back into general circulation via auctions.
