Default [OT] Celebrating 26 years of marriage in Banff [OT]

My wife and I just pent our 26th anniversary in Banff and the cool thing was 26 years ago to the day we were in Banff on our Honeymoon as we drove my 1974 454 Stingray from Brandon Manitoba to Victoria BC. Here is a look waay back then....
My lovely new bride... Painted it myself, I used to paint that car a different custom paint job every year.

This year, we left the Z06 and took the Escalade so our baby could come with us, as she is an important part of our family.

Here she is posing at the Juniper Hotel just outside Banff.

View of Banff and Vermillion lakes from our deck.

Here is Kaya checking out a critter down below..

Ok, she is spoiled....

Takakkaw Falls BC about an hour from Banff

Kaya showing off...

Non stop beauty..

Stopped for food in Field BC

We hiked around Emerald Lake

Kaya mostly swam around it.

A couple of critters that got Kayas attention.

And the baby!!

Back in Banff..

All in all it was a great time, perfect weather perfect company, life is good. Now it is time to go out for supper back here in Calgary, but Kaya is staying home and it is Z06 time!!!!
Thanks for looking.

Incredible shots! We stayed at the Chateau a year or two ago. It ws a business trip/reward for my wife.
Truly envy your trip with your wife and furkid! Looks like a lot of fun.

We left our furkids at home. Though they were well looked after, it would have been great to have them there.

Your exactly right, I was going ot take a picture of the water tower, but I was too close and then I just forgot. have driven by Field a lot of times, first time we ever stopped. It is a real nice little town.

Congratulations!

You definitely picked a great weekend to get out to the mountains. I was in Crowsnest pass myself.

We are a rare breed of folks in an age of convenience. Marriage stats are so bad these days that it is refreshing to read stories like this. SHWIMBO and I will celebrate our 30th this year too.

Congrats on keeping it real and alive.

Now I'm jealous! 35 years as a ski instructor. Has-been now. Maybe there's hope for me in the future!
