Aside from that pesky C6 coupe that is for some reason always parked in my garage, I saw a Z06 at the office today (my bosses) and a silver coupe going northbound on the 404 just about 25 minutes ago and then a black Z06 going southbound on the 404 from aurora road about 20 minutes ago.
I"ll run out and take another quick peak at the one in my garage now........
I am pretty sure I just spotted Corrado about a half hour ago. I was at the lights on Mavis (northbound) at Matheson and he went westbound on Matheson through the same lights. I just heard this loud noise, then a flash of blue and then within a second he was long gone It's a fantastic day to drive a Corvette with the roof off, I'm only in the house for a few moments and then I'm heading back out again to enjoy this fantastic weather!
Hey Patman, yep that was me, was on my lunch. Sorry I didn't see you or I woulda waved!
It would've been difficult for you to spot me in advance as I was sandwiched between two large SUVs/minivans so that's why I didn't even see you until after you'd already passed through the lights. I heard you before I saw you actually!
Rather scarce on the road around here, even tho
there is a local club. An all brands show, couple
Sundays ago captured about a dozen.
Cover Chevrolet does a good job of keeping them
avaliable. New and used.
Saw about a dozen in Edmonton last week, but there was not a single one that would wave back. Bunch of snotty pr1cks in whiner tow...err I mean oiler town.
Saw two red vettes in a row southbound at @2:15, a C5 followed by a late 70's C3 with loud sidepipes... then another red C5 at @ 2:30, then a Copper coloured C6 at @ 2:45.... I waved, but alas, I was in my minivan, and was also in the Northbound lanes, so no wave backs.....
Earl's '56 "Corvette" looks like a Corvette, sort of, but there are big differences. For instance, the block is bored & stroked and started life in a Dart. Loverly fuel injected Weber carbs. .530" lift roller cam. '50s Caddy tail lights. Harley head lights. Bricklin tail panel. (He has a Bricklin, & every car he's built since has one Bricklin part on it.)
The rear end has been widened 2" on each side.
It took two years to build, was finished in time for Autorama, & has 9 miles on it. (Still some issues with the Webers & the computerized fuel injection.)
A black followed by a red C6 turning onto Main St off of south bound James Snow Parkway then another black C6 and a light blue C5 coming off east bound 401 onto south JSP around 8:15 last night. Largest group of Vettes I've seen in Milton, was there a cruise last night?
I was driving back with my buddy to his house (Bayview & Cummer) in his 05 Mag Red coupe and see Tim (Slowpoke2) parked at a house in the area.
After picking up my car at my buddies I see Tim again getting on the 401 at Bayview. He didn't recoginze me as I was driving my Murano but after a liberal amount of arm waving and horn honking I finally got his attention.
Tim my buddy who lives in the area and goes by that house all the time says he has never seen your car there before.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
